Cllr Dennis Jones has become the new leader of the Labour Group of Councillors on Peterborough City Council.

The Dogsthorpe Ward representative was unanimously chosen for the post by city Labour councillors following the retirement of previous Leader Shaz Nawaz.

Peterborough Labour Party are gearing up for the May council elections and Dennis’ first priority is ensuring the party puts forward a positive message for change across the city.
