Residents have been responding in their hundreds to Andrew’s survey about nuisance fireworks.

Fireworks displays can provide a safe and organised way to enjoy fireworks, and the law is clear about the times fireworks can be used. It is an offence to use fireworks after 11pm and before 7am without permission.

Andrew Pakes, Labour’s candidate to be our next MP, is campaigning for tougher action by the council and police to clamp down on anti-social behaviour.  As well as updating the law to reduce the noice levels on fireworks and crack down on their inappropriate and anti-social use.
